FACTS AT A GLANCE:

  • PCCS is committed to incorporating biblical principles and teach from a Christian worldview in all areas.
  • An aggressive academic, but not overwhelming, curriculum is offered by qualified Christian teachers in a Christian environment.
  • Standardized Achievement Test scores show students consistently score above grade level.
  • A separate Bible curriculum is offered at every grade level.
  • PCCS is a non-denominational and distinctively Christian school.
  • The school serves approximately 10 communities in the surrounding area.
  • Special classes are offered each week which include: art, music, physical education, Spanish, computer lab, and library.
  • Students have the opportunity to participate in academic competitions in the following areas:  spelling, math, science, speech, and art.
  • All classes participate in two school programs each year.
  • Preschool classes are offered for 3-and 4-year-old children (must be 3 by August 1) and 4-and 5-year-old children (must be 4 by August 1).
  • Classes for kindergarten through 10th grade are offered. (It is the plan that high school grades will be added incrementally through 12th grade).
  • Each class participates in field trips which provide additional learning experiences outside the classroom.
  • Chapel services are held each week. Highlights have included teaching on Creationism, missionaries – long and short term, presentations by area Christian leaders, and presentations by PCCS classes.

The home, a church that teaches the Bible is the only inspired and infallible Word of God, and a Christian school comprise a cord we believe is described in Ecclesiastes 4:12b . . . and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
